Newport celebrated at Cwtsh exhibition

It was a pleasure to attend the recent launch of the ‘Friars Walk, We Stand and Stare’ exhibition at Newport’s Cwtsh Community Arts Centre.

The exhibition, curated by local photographer John Briggs, features a display of photography, artwork and poetry celebrating the regeneration of Newport City Centre.

Great credit must go to the artists involved and everyone at Cwtsh for creating this unique celebration of Newport. I’d encourage everyone to get along and have a look at the exhibits.

Thank you to John Briggs for the picture above - me catching up with Rosemary Butler AM and David Crowson, the Volunteer Organiser at Cwtsh.
