It was a pleasure to attend an event to celebrate the service and achievements of Newport CAB Director Den Foley, who has worked with Citizens Advice for 25 years.
Den’s dedication and commitment over a quarter of a century typifies the strong community-orientated values which are at the heart of the service the Newport CAB provides. He and his team have develop a number of great initiatives, including the Discrimination Advice service and a dedicated scheme dealing with the impact of problem gambling.
The great turnout at the event was a testament to the considerable impact Den has had during his time with the Newport CAB, and it was good to join CAB staff and volunteers, local politicians and community groups to thank Den for all his good work in the city.
