Ending Youth Homelessness

Recently I signed a pledge to help end youth homelessness in Wales and today an extra £2.1 million has been awarded by the Cabinet Secretary to help make this a reality.

People deserve a safe, warm and secure home and I am proud that the Welsh Government are making this a key priority. In addition to the £8 million funded through the Homelessness Prevention Programme and £6 million allocated to local authorities, this money has the potential to make a real difference to people’s lives.
