Girlguiding Gwent Takes Over The Senedd To Celebrate Vote 100

Last weekend I welcomed Girlguiding Gwent to the Senedd. The visit was to commemorate 100 years of female suffrage amd to celebrate the successes achieved in the past century for women’s equality in the past century.

The event saw the guides take part in several activities throughout the day including question time with myself Assembly Member for Torfaen, Lynne Neagle. It was brilliant to see lots of girls taking an interest in the Welsh Youth Parliament, voting and standing for elections.
