It was a pleasure to go along to the Aneurin Bevan Health Board Long Service Recognition Awards in Caerleon last week. The Deputy Health Minister, Vaughan Gething AM, and Newport East AM John Griffiths were also in attendance.

The event was a way of recognising staff from different areas of the health service – including nurses, midwives, GP’s and administrative and clerical staff – who have served for 25 or 40 years respectively. We owe a debt of gratitude to all the hard-working and dedicated staff who help make our NHS so special.
