We are lucky to have several great food co-operatives in Newport West.
Food co-operatives offer an affordable alternative to supermarkets, and are a great local option for fresh fruit and vegetables. What’s even more positive is that money spent through food co-ops is re-invested back into the local community.
There are several food co-ops operating in Newport West; at Maesglas, Pill, Duffryn, Gaer, Bettws, Malpas, Shaftesbury and the City Centre. It’s important that we continue to support their good work.
