Praise for Sparkle Appeal

This weekend I was at The Serennu centre for a Summer Fete in aid of the Sparkle Appeal.  The Fete was a fantastic success and it was great to see it so well supported by our local community. 

It’s always a pleasure to visit the Serennu Centre and see the first-class facilities in place; including the sensory play areas and MediCinema. I have spoken to many families who rely on the service and the wide range of clubs and activities that they offer for children with disabilities and developmental difficulties.  It’s a joyful place and a safe-haven for both the children and their families.

The success of the Serennu Centre is a testament to the excellent fundraising efforts of the Sparkle Appeal.  It’s really important we continue to get behind their work which is so valued in Newport and across Gwent.
