Praise for work of Wastesavers in Newport

It was a pleasure to visit Wastesavers this week with John Griffiths and Carl Sargeant, Welsh Government Minister for Natural Resources. We had a chance to meet up with the great staff at Wastesavers, and had a look around the excellent facilities at their Esperanto Way recycling centre.

Wastesavers deserve huge credit for their efforts on tackling waste, and running innovative training and education programmes in the community. They have established an effective working relationship with Newport City Council, and have helped cement the strong commitment to recycling which exists across the city.
